Description
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To support in providing oversight and support for the Core Flying Phase of the Multi Pilot License (MPL) programme, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, and training requirements established by the GCAA and flydubai.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures compliance with all applicable GCAA regulations, flydubai Academy procedures, and safety requirements across assigned flight training activities.
Oversees and monitors all flight training activities conducted by contracted training providers to ensure delivery in accordance with approved standards and requirements.
Manages and monitors Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with contracted training providers to ensure set expectations are met.
Ensures standardisation and quality assurance of flight instruction across all training phases.
Conducts Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI) training for Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFIs) supporting the Basic Phase MPL training in Flight Training Device (FTD)/ Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer (FNPT) devices.
Monitors cadet performance, training progress, and competency development to identify gaps and recommend targeted areas for improvement.
Supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training programs and syllabi.
Ensures accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance of training records and documentation.
Coordinates training activities and operational matters with contracted training providers ensuring effective training delivery.
Verifies instructor qualifications, authorizations, competency, and currency requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitors instructor and cadet recency requirements and ensure ongoing compliance.
Ensures compliance with applicable flight time, duty time, and fatigue management requirements.
Reports training performance, compliance matters, and operational issues and support corrective actions where required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
Fluent in English
Required GCAA CPL license holder with SEP rating and a minimum of 2,000 flight hours.
Years with qualifications: 7 - 9 years
Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with Single Engine, Multi-Engine, and Instrument Rating (IR); Flight Instructor Rating (FIR); Class Rating Instructor (CRI); Multi-Crew Pilot Licence Instructor (MPLI); and Multi-Crew Pilot Licence Instructor Instructor (MPLII)

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
