JOIN SAS AS AN EXPERIENCED A320 FIRST OFFICER - LONDON HEATHROW
SAS Crew Services Ltd. (an SAS Group company) is seeking experienced First Officers to join the SAS Connect A320 fleet, based at London Heathrow (LHR). With assessment dates available from August, we are keen to hear from experienced First Officers looking to continue their flying careers with a growing European airline.
This is an exciting time to join SAS as we continue to expand our network, including the launch of our largest summer programme ever in 2026, with new routes and destinations across Europe. Operating a modern Airbus A320neo fleet, our pilots enjoy a diverse range of flying experiences across a comprehensive European network, from Nordic winter operations to some of Europe's busiest airports and airspace environments.
As demand for air travel continues to grow and our Airbus fleet expands, we are investing in our future and our people. Requirements
EASA CPL with ATPL subjects
Valid A320 type rating (preferable)
EASA Class One medical
ICAO Level 5 English Language Proficiency
No incidents or accidents
Unrestricted Right to Live and Work in UK
SAS Pilot Recruitment Process
If you are selected to move forward, the SAS Pilot Recruitment process consists of the following steps:
CV Screening – We review your qualifications, licenses, and flying experience.
Online Interview – A live interview with one of our recruiters.
Online Tests – Cognitive and personality assessments.
Assessment Day – A simulator session, and a personal interview.
Final Checks – Background screening, personal security interview, Right to Live and Work check, and drug & alcohol testing.
Please note: Each step in the recruitment process may be disqualifying.
Candidates who are successful in the initial screening can expect to be invited for assessment during through August and September, with courses planned late 2026 and early 2027.
